Baba Saheb Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Study and Research Centre
Babasheeb Dr. B. Ambedkar Studies and Research Centre was established during 1998 with funding from Government of Karnataka. The centre is the first of its kind in a university to construct a memorial architecture type building in Karnataka State by investing about Rs 80 lakhs. It is spacious and capable of providing varieties of services to Teachers, Scholars, Students and Public such as Museum, Library, Class room and auditorium.
Aims and Objectives:
- The centre’s objective is to propogate the ideas and ideals of Bharathratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar on society, economy and polity.
- To focus attention on the contributions of Dr. Ambedkar for the upliftment of the socially and economically diprived sections of the society.
- To promote studies and research on Dr. Ambedkar.
